Picking a wedding photographer is one of the most overwhelming parts of planning a wedding. You are likely going to hire someone that you’ve met one time in a coffee shop, or over the phone, to document one of the most important days of your life. There is only one take on your wedding day, and you have to trust this person enough to basically make them a member of the wedding party for the day. For this reason I believe it is important to choose a photographer that you connect with. This connection can help make your relationship with your photographer more comfortable and meaningful. My goal in photographing a wedding is to offer a personal and fun experience for my couples to enhance my ability to capture as many special and authentic moments as possible. Your wedding day will go by in the blink of an eye, and I look forward to capturing it from beginning to end. I prefer meeting with my couples, in person or on the phone, prior to their big day so I can clearly understand their wants and needs ahead of time. Do you offer video options?
Yes! I offer two types of wedding highlight films. One is a collection of highlight clips from your wedding built into a timeline with music over the video. The other is the same with the addition of recordings of the couple’s personal vows or personal letters. These highlight films are not the same as a full video production. The highlight films I create are typically 2-5 minutes long, depending on the length and flow of the wedding day. For more info click here.
How many images can we expect.
Every wedding gallery will vary, as I make a point to try and capture a full story of the wedding day. With that, I will take as many photos as necessary to be able to tell that story. If I had to put a number on it, I typically produce 40-50, digitally developed, high-resolution images for every hour of shoot time. Photos are provided via online gallery.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
During the busiest parts of the season, turn around time is about 4-6 weeks. If you have included a video in your experience, I typically tell my couples to expect an extra week to this timeline.
How do we book with you?
Booking with me is very easy. Once you have decided to add me to your wedding day experience, I email you a digital contract that includes all the service options you want. Along with the contract, I require a retainer of 50% of the total cost to be paid at the time of signing. The remaining balance can be paid anytime up to 14 days prior to your wedding date. Once I receive the retainer and the contract is complete, we are all set and your date is reserved.
